The Parents’ Association at The Swan NS

At The Swan NS, we are lucky to have a dedicated and enthusiastic Parents’ Association (PA)which  plays a vital role in supporting our school community. The PA works alongside the staff and Board of Management to enhance school life for all our students, helping to build a strong connection between home and school.

Our Parents’ Association:

• Organises events & fundraisers – The PA holds a reffle each Christmas & Easter and helps the staff ensure the success of our annual school concert. The funds raised are used to purchase school resources and help finance projects

• Supports school initiatives – From helping with special events to assisting in school projects like sports days or garden improvements, the PA is always ready to lend a hand.

• Provides a voice for parents – The PA represents parents’ views and ideas, ensuring they have a say in their children’s education and school experience.

• Enhances the school community – By fostering a warm and welcoming school environment, the PA helps create a positive atmosphere where students, teachers, and parents work together.

All parents and guardians are encouraged to get involved in the Parents’ Association. Whether it’s helping at an event, sharing ideas, or attending meetings, every contribution makes a difference!

We are fortunate to have a very supportive community who support our use of all community facilities. We appreciate also the grandparents and locals who give of their time to further develop our children's skills and talents.🧶🪡🎭
